Is it common to have a back ache and chest pains when taking omeprazole? - omeprazole

Taking Omeprazole once I had pain in the chest and back pain, heartburn could, but I'm not sure. Is this a normal side effect?

Well, normal is a good question. The adverse reactions were reported frequently. Approximately 1% of the population complains of back pain, 2% complained of abdominal pain (some may confuse the pain of the gastrointestinal tract with upper chest pain, so I included this information here) and less than 1% complained about Angina pectoris (pain) in the chest. Angina is certainly cause for concern. No reason to panic, but I would talk to your doctor and let you know the location, severity and duration of the symptoms that you (both back and chest) - and skip the brush. There are many other drugs to treat heartburn.

Who knows, the FDA is so corrupt, pushed the drug on the market and act as if they were sure to give paitents and warn against the dangers and consequences.
